Please note that the “Solving Tournaments Problem Database (STPDB)” is fully integrated into the Solving Tournament Manager tool of WFCC. On the top of the STPDB database the STM tool contains problems from all tournaments entered into STM as of October 2015 and all others which Luc Palmans previously has entered into STPDB. At the moment this database contains about 12,000 problems and it’s constantly growing as new tournaments are added. So the validation if selected tournament problems are used before for solving tournaments should be done by using the STM tool. For more information see here. (Roland Ott, Solving Committee)

35 countries participate with 86 compositions in A, 75 in B, 67 in C, 74 in D, 92 in E, 71 in F, 54 in G and 79 in H.

Update 02.09.2021: The file of section H (proofgames) has been updated as the diagram and the solution of H78 were incorrect. Please download again.

Important notes:
- The teams may send claims before December 1st, 2021 to the tournament Director, Harry Fougiaxis (loyaldragon@gmail.com).
- Only appointed team leaders may send claims.
- Only claims concerning obvious misprints and errors, soundness and anticipation will be accepted. Claims about the thematic contents or technical improvement will be ignored.
- The judging countries should start judgment process immediately, in order to save time.
Invitation to Rhodes: Reminder & Official Website
REMINDER: The Greek Chess Problem Society have the honour to invite all delegates of the World Federation for Chess Composition (WFCC), national teams and individual solvers, chess composers and all those interested in problem chess, to attend the 63rd World Congress of Chess Composition (WCCC) and 44th World Chess Solving Championship (WCSC).
The congress will be held from Saturday, October 16th (arrival)to Saturday, October 23rd, 2021 (departure) at the “Rodos Palace Hotel” ***** in the island of Rhodes, with the WCSC on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 19th and 20th.

5th Youth Chess Composing Challenge
After a break of one year, another edition of the YCCC is on the way.
This year, 5th YCCC is open to the U23 generation (born no earlier than 01.01.1998), and to all different genres of chess composition.
All young chess composers, and those who would like to try their hands in this kind of chess art, are invited to take part in three different sections (two of them with the set thematic conditions)!
The deadline for submission of the entries is 30th September.
The results are planned to be announced on 22th October 2021, during the Closing ceremony of the Rhodes WCCC 2021.
List of Album points 1914-2018
The current list of Album points has been updated. We also present the list of all-time top 100 composers in the albums 1914-2018, as well as the most successful composers in the 2016-18 album.
Distribution of diplomas to composers who achieved new titles in 2020 and 2021 will take place in the Rhodes congress.
Update (13.08.2021): Six names were missing from the table of the most successful composers in the 2016-18 album. The table has been updated as appropriate. Apologies for the inconvenience.
Invitation to the 18th ISC
The International Solving Contest (ISC) next year will take place on Sunday 23.01.2022. The event is happening simultaneously in all participating countries. There will be three categories: one for experienced solvers. The second category is intended for weaker, inexperienced solvers. This second category is not open for solvers with a rating (or half-rating or non-active-rating) of more than 2000. The third category is intended for youngsters born after 31.12.2008
