The results of the FIDE Album 2022-24 section D are ready!
Many thanks to the director Jan Sprenger and the team of judges Amatzia Avni, Oleg Pervakov, and Vladislav Tarasyuk for their swift and efficient work!
In a nutshell:
- 934 studies were submitted, without counting duplicates.
- 840 studies reached a score of at least 4,5 points.
- 228 studies by 53 composers were selected (24,4% of all submitted studies and 27,1% of all studies with at least 4,5 points).

The list of successful composers’ album points is very informative.
This 3-year-period was very fruitful for the study composers. Congratulations to the new title holders: 3 GM (Arestov, Costeff, Tarasyuk), 4 IM (González, the late Maksimovskikh, Pasman, Sprenger), 3 FM (Gromov, Kopylov, Neishtadt Jr.) Titles will be officially approved in the next online or regular Meeting.
It is also very encouraging to find in the list 5 youngsters’ names: Ivan Belonozhko, Ural Khasanov, Itay Richardson, Taras Rudenko, Ben Smolkin. Kudos to all of them!
