49th World Congress of Chess Composition
Wageningen, Netherlands, July 29 – August 5, 2006
The Dutch Chess Problem society invites Delegates of the Permanent Commission for Chess Composition (PCCC), teams and individual solvers for the 30th World Chess Solving Championship (WCSC), accompanying families and friends, and all those interested in problem-chess, to attend the 49th World congress of Chess Composition. The Congress will take place in Wageningen, the Netherlands, from Saturday 29th July to Saturday 5th August 2006 in the Wageningen International Congress Centre (WICC).
Wageningen is a small town in the centre of the Netherlands. It is the agricultural research centre of the country with an agricultural university.
The shopping centre of Wageningen is very close to the conference centre.
The WICC offers 119 single rooms and 27 double rooms. All rooms are renovated in 2002 and are equipped with a shower and toilet. Greater luxury can be found at the WIR-hotel 200 meters from the WICC-hotel with rooms for 2 or more persons.
Accommodation prices per day (including breakfast, dinner, drinks, banquet and city reception):
- per person in a single room € 85
- per person in a shared room € 68
Prices of the WIR hotel depend on your requirements and can be obtained from the organizing committee.
All payments should be made on arrival to the organizing committee in Euros.

Late registrations will be accepted subject to room availability. Bookings will be confirmed as they arrive.
The programme will include WCSC, the Open Solving tourney, composing tourneys, lectures, solving show, city reception etc. as usual.
